Meadow Lakes is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to join our team!
Meadow Lakes is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in East Windsor, NJ. We are in search of a full-time Dietary Supervisor to join our team. At Springpoint, the Dietary Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Director and/or Assistant Director in planning, organizing, developing and directing overall operation of the department. Perform a variety of tasks ensuring the Health Care and ESP residents receive proper food and nourishment as directed by the doctors, nurses, and dietician.
Responsibilities:
- Provide staffing coverage during shortages and monitor absenteeism.
- input on performance appraisals and provide training in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain diet records and resident menus of Health Care Unit following NJ state health regulations.
- Ensure dietary orders and diet changes are being implemented prior to delivery of trays to HCC or ESP.
- Meet with residents upon admission; access dietary needs and preferences.
- Responsible for accuracy of tray line twice daily.
- Maintain present apartment tray system, including systems for ordering, delivery, pickup and billing.
- Function as liaison with nursing staff to ensure proper tray order.
- Maintain substitution log.
- Maintain supplement and nourishment log for Health Care residents.
- In-service dietary staff of resident diets and needs.
- Assist with writing menus currently being used in Health Care Center, including adjusting extension and production sheets.
- Maintain diet records, menus, and specific dietary needs of an additional 30 bed ESP unit.
- Maintain menus for ILU residents requiring special needs.
- Cover responsibilities of Health Care Dietary Aide when available.
- Post instructions concerning supplements for nursing staff.
- Responsible for weekly census for HCC, ESP, and ILU tray service.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required.
- Secondary Education preferred.
- 3 years experience in a similar role.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour
