What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Maintenance position at Meadow Oaks Golf & Country Club?
Golf course maintenance workers, also known as groundskeepers, perform a variety of tasks to keep golf courses in good condition. These tasks can include:
- Mowing: Mowing greens, fairways, roughs, and other grass areas
- Trimming: Trimming grass and shrubbery
- Raking: Raking bunkers and sand traps
- Watering: Watering roughs and hand watering
- Seeding: Seeding tees, fairways, and greens
- Fertilizing: Applying fertilizers and chemicals
- Maintaining: Maintaining fringes, flags, cups, yardage markers, tee boxes, sprinkler systems, and golf carts
- Repairing: Repairing irrigation and drainage systems, leaks, clogs, and other system malfunctions
- Other: Changing hole locations, blowing debris, filling ball washers and water coolers, moving tee markers, grading and preparing course bases, laying sod, and using hand tools to excavate and backfill trenches
Golf course maintenance workers may also be called upon to complete special projects, such as planting and weeding flower beds. They should have a valid driver's license and be able to drive various types of golf carts and utility vehicles. Some skills that are important for golf course maintenance workers include outdoor work, landscaping, irrigation, turf grass, and landscape maintenance.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
