About the Job
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care to our residents within a warm and comfortable environment. As a member of our team, you will work closely with dedicated professionals who prioritize resident satisfaction and well-being.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will accurately assess, communicate, and document residents' status, observing and reporting any significant changes in behavior and health. They will direct and supervise Resident Care Assistants, mentoring and guiding them in all aspects of their job. The LPN will coordinate care needs with community providers via effective case management and balance service demands with supporting resident independence.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a current state license as an LPN, CPR certification, and a graduate degree from an approved LPN program. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a nurse is preferred, with previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position highly desirable.
