What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance/Infection Control RN position at Meadow View Nursing Center?
Associate’s degree from an accredited school of nursing is necessary. Completion of Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Current RN license is required. Employee must be in good standing with the state. Possession of a current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers CPR certificate is preferred. "Train The Trainer" certificate and thirty (30) hours of continuing education required every two years.
A minimum of one year long-term care experience is required.
- Assisting with the management of the nursing services department.
- Responsible for the quality of resident care.
- Develops, directs the implementation and ensures compliance of standard of nursing practice that promotes optimum health care delivery.
- Responsible to serve as the facility Infection Preventionist.
- Responsible for Staff Education of the nursing department.
