Job Overview
We are seeking a positive, service-orientated, energetic and self-motivated Houseman to join our team. The Houseman plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of events by preparing and maintaining banquet and clubhouse facilities. This position involves setting up and breaking down event spaces, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and assisting with various tasks to facilitate smooth operations during events.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

• Prepare banquet spaces for events according to specifications, including setting up tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are in good working condition and set up in accordance to event requirements.
• Assist in breakdown of events, including clean up, storage of tables, chairs, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas, storage spaces, and common areas.
• Support waitstaff with food and beverage service as needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to provide a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in banquet setup is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift

Work Location: In person
