Available Positions Include...
- Division Head - Supervise the campers and staff of a grade level. Help to train staff, participate in activities with campers, speak with parents. Be a part of our 20 member Leadership Team.
- Group Leader - Be the oldest counselor of three in a group of PreK or K aged campers. Participate in activities with campers. Be the coolest person in your campers' lives. This is a job that you will love going to daily and be sad when it is over.
- Cooking Instructor - Lead campers as they participate in one of their favorite activities in camp.
- Lifeguards/Swim Instructors - Teach campers the very important life skill of swimming. Get the same campers daily so you bond with them while teaching them. Guard pools as well to ensure camper safety. Applicants must have or be able to get Lifeguard Certification which Meadowbrook will pay for.
- Ropes Course Specialist - We can train you and get you certified but you need to be good with heights of up to 30'. Be a part of our 15 person staff and lead campers through our challenging course.

- Supervise and engage with campers during various activities and events.
- Plan and lead recreational activities such as sports, arts and crafts, theater performances, and educational programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and friendship among campers.
- Implement behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members regarding camper progress and any concerns.
- Assist in the development of age-appropriate programs that promote childhood development.
- Support special needs campers by utilizing skills in special education or behavior management as needed.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, summer camps, or educational environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Skills in first aid certification are highly desirable; training may be provided if necessary.
- Background in sports coaching, theater, or other recreational activities is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children of various ages.
- A positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for working with youth are essential.
