What are the responsibilities and job description for the NOC shift LVN at small SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) position at Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community?
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a non-profit Skilled Nursing Facility with a high nurse-to-patient ratio
The Company: Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is a non-profit organization in Escondido that opened in 2009 with the mission to "honor God by serving others with love and compassion." We are licensed as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) and offer independent, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services. Our 19-bed skilled nursing facility opened in 2017.

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance with HRA, dental & vision coverage, optional FSA, paid holidays, vacation accrual, sick leave, and annual retirement employer contributions. Because our independent (non-corporate) SNF is smaller than average (19 beds), our staff have the opportunity to provide highly-personalized, quality care.
Job Description: We're looking for individuals who take joy in providing excellent, personalized care for those struggling with a temporary set-back or a terminal diagnosis. Patients and their families often comment that they love our staff's friendliness and dedication -- and we're looking for more people who share that mindset.
The LVNs will be responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care by following federal, state, and company regulations/policies, directing and documenting nursing duties, monitoring and reviewing care plans and procedures, reporting to the Director of Nursing, and leading by positive example.
