What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist position at Meadowcrest Chiropractic?
Our office is looking for an energetic, friendly and driven individual (or individuals) to help patients administratively and clinically. Experience in Chiropractic offices is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. Applicants should possess great telephone/customer service skills and be able to multitask well.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting payments
- Keeping the office clean daily, wiping down rooms, cleaning bathrooms, doing laundry
- Assisting with patient care (Helping with therapies such as electrical stimulation and Ultrasound)
- Inputting insurance information, checking benefits, understanding insurance terms
- Effectively using EHR Software
- Navigating iPad, computer systems, fax/copy machines
- Bill Insurance electronically
Hours are as follows:
- Monday 8:15am-1pm, 2pm-6:15pm
- Tuesday 8:45am-3:15pm
- Wednesday 8:45am-1pm, 2pm-7:15pm
- Friday 8:45am-1pm, 2pm-7:15pm
- Saturdays 7:45am- 12:15pm (Saturdays are by appointment only so hours can vary slightly)
Pay will be negotiated commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
