Employee Health Practical Nurse

Summary:
This position provides a vital role in supporting the overall health and well-being of employees. The Employee Health Practical Nurse assists with a variety of duties, including administering vaccinations, conducting health assessments, maintaining accurate employee health records, and supporting various employee health programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Vaccination Administration:
Assist with the administration of various vaccinations (e.g., flu, COVID-19, MMR) according to established protocols and guidelines.
Maintain accurate vaccination records and monitor employee immunization compliance.
Employee Health Assessments:
Conduct pre-employment and periodic health assessments, including medical history reviews, vital sign checks, and other relevant screenings as required.
Assist with the management of employee health concerns and provide basic first aid and emergency response support.
Record Keeping and Data Management:
Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records in accordance with applicable regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA).
Enter and maintain employee health data in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Utilize spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) to track employee health data, analyze trends, and generate reports.
Fit Testing:
Assist with the fit testing of respirators for employees required to use them in their job duties.
Program Coordination:
Coordinate with the Employee Health Nurse on various health programs and initiatives, such as health screenings, wellness campaigns, and employee assistance programs.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
Current and valid licensure as a Practical Nurse in the state of [State].
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience in administering vaccinations preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software.
Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
