**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dynamic and reliable retail store Assistant Manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring smooth daily operations within the store as well as leading and facilitating team members in daily duties.
Sales and Customer Service Duties:
- Greet and assist customers, providing product information and recommendations
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective customer engagement and upselling techniques
- Handle customer inquiries, needs and returns, professionally and courteously
Operational Duties:
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including merchandising
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting regular stock checks
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures, including opening and closing tasks
Team Management:
- Lead and facilitate team member duties throughout day to ensure efficient and effective work
- Assist team members by problem solving road blocks and teaching them to do so
- Serve as a “filter” to the shop owner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service
- Previous experience leading and managing people preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
