Home Health Intake Assistant
Location: Manhattan, KS, 66502
Job Description:
The Home Health Intake Assistant supports the daily operations of Meadowlark Home Health. The Intake Assistant will coordinate start of care with clients and clinicians, maintain regulatory compliance through orders manager and provide clerical support to the Home Health team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate start of care with clients and clinicians as directed by Intake Coordinator.
- Creates and maintains admission packets for all admissions.
- Answers phone calls and directs callers, as needed.
- Maintains supply and inventory needs for Home Health Office and Clinicians including, but not limited to medical supplies, marketing supplies, and office supplies.
- Honors all clients and family preferences through support, friendship, kindness, sincerity, communication and relationship building.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Work Hours:
Primary work hours are weekdays, such as Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
