Director of Plant Operations
Excellent opportunity to join the dynamic Management Team of Meadowood, a premier nonprofit community in Worcester Township, Montgomery County. Responsible for the direct oversight of the Maintenance Crew, as well as the overall campus and physical plant on over 135 acres. Supervises a department of 10 mechanics in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction /renovations, etc. for approx. 600 residents. Plans, budgets, tracks, and controls expenses.
Must be a strong leader, yet jump into the trenches when needed; work well with other departments; and be able to communicate with and be respectful of residents at all times, especially under pressure.
Requires a college degree and at least 10 years’ experience in facility maintenance, as well as life safety and regulatory compliance in Senior Living. On call 24/7 for handling emergencies. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
