The Position
The Life Enrichment Assistant will assist the Director of Life Enrichment in creating and implementing activities for memory impaired residents. The assistant must be able to demonstrate creativity, flexibility, patience and always treat residents with dignity and respect. The assistant will work together with all staff including dining, housekeeping and other supportive services while following the collaborative direction of the Director of Life Enrichment. A minimum of 1 year experience working in a long-term care setting.
Rates~ $16.33-$19.59.
Hours~ 8:30am-5:00pm with one evening on Tuesday, 12:00pm-8:30pm and every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday.

Qualifications: Knowledge of recreational activities appropriate for older people, acquired through training or experience. Willingness to work with residents who have limited capabilities. Display positive spiritual energy when initiating resident activities. Ability to adapt resident activity to individual needs and interests of residents. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Maintain confidentiality. Demonstrate teamwork. Willingness to work flexible hours. High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year experience in a long-term care setting.
Salary : $16 - $20
