The Activities Facilitator is responsible for establishing, organizing, monitoring and providing psycho-education and related activities for Workshop participants.

Position Summary:
The Activities Facilitator is responsible for establishing, organizing, monitoring and providing psycho-education and related activities for Workshop participants.
Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Ensures that all recreation and wellness program activities are conducted in accordance with Company Model.
- Organizes psycho- education activities for workshop participants. Works closely with the Director of Workshops in the delivery of services.
- Provides emotional support to workshop participants.
- Monitors dinner hour.
- Provides support to other facilitators of evening activities provided to participants.
- Participates in team meetings as assigned.
Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy or related field desired, MA in Counseling preferred.
- Certification in Recreation Therapy preferred. Personal trainer and /or Yoga training desired.
- Three years professional experience in recreation related field preferred.
- Ability to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to effectively listen, process received information, and express ideas both orally and in writing in English.
- Ability to initiate action, take personal responsibility, suggest improvements, and solve problems within scope of job without being asked.
- Ability to understand and comply with government, regulatory, and company rules.
- Ability to record, report, and maintain confidentiality of information and respond to requests for information.
- Ability to get assigned work done in an acceptable manner, in the time allotted, with minimal prompting or reminders.
