Job responsibilities include:
- Review tax returns (federal, state).
- Perform research and stay up to date on a broad range of issues including federal, local and international tax requirements
- Review quarterly and annual tax projections
- Participate on special projects as necessary
- Staff training and development
- Client management and practice development activities
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Good project management skills (ability to meet deadlines with agreed upon budget)
- Professional attitude and ability to represent the firm brand
- Team player than thrives in a collaborative environment
- Ability to exercise professional humility
- Give and receive constructive feedback
- A good sense of humor is a plus!
Experience:
- 5 years of relevant tax experience
- 2 years of reviewing tax returns
- CPA, EA or CPA eligible
- Industry experience in one of the firm's specializations a plus! (Real Estate, Construction, Financial Services, High Net Worth Individuals, or Entrepreneurial Services)
