We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced QA Nurse Specialist to join our healthcare team.
As a QA Nurse Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our facility meets the highest standards of care through continuous quality assessment and performance improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to implement best practices and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: Must hold a valid RN license to practice in the State of Alabama.
Key Responsibilities of a QA Nurse Specialist:
- Leading quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided to residents.
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to resident outcomes, quality metrics, and care processes to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conducting audits of nursing practices, medical records, and resident care to ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Providing education and training to staff on quality improvement processes, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and quality initiatives that promote resident well-being.
- Investigating incidents, complaints, and grievances to identify root causes and develop action plans to prevent reoccurrence.
- Participating in care conferences, quality improvement meetings, and regulatory surveys to ensure ongoing compliance and quality improvement.
