The position currently open for CT is for first shift 7:00am - 3;30pm with rotations through shift weekends and filling in for vacations as needed. MMC is a stroke center so you will be educated on our policies and procedures regarding what is expected. We look forward to adding to our team.

In addition, approximately 650 babies are born here each year.
Tasks/Responsibilities
- Produce diagnostic images using our protocols and knowledge of positioning to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, while respecting patient's comfort ability and range of motion
- Obtain adequate patient history, explain procedures to the patient, while addressing patient concerns
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and ensure processed images are in proper order of exposure, and appropriate identification of patient and anatomy imaged
- Have a working understanding of correct exposure according to patient age and body habitus
- Work closely with our support and board-certified Radiologists for the best patient care that we can provide
MINIMUM EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Professional knowledge of Radiology and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist or registry eligible pass the registry within one year of hire.
Current BLS Healthcare Provider card.
If assigned to the Neuro-Alert Team, additional stroke education is required. Refer to Administrative Policy A-148 for education requirements.
