- Incumbent must work in office in Atlanta four days per week and may work remotely one day per week with manager approval
Summary
Under direct supervision, oversees and performs activities related to the design, development, installation, operation and maintenance of all hardware and software systems within Operational Technology. These systems include the SCADA / Energy Management System (EMS), Oracle Database, Substation Security, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and SEL TEAM systems. Provides technical assistance / consulting to other departments within MEAG and to all of MEAG's forty-nine (49) Participants.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or a related field of study, with at least 5-8 years of progressive experience in building, maintaining, and commissioning SCADA system displays and database points for an electric utility. Working for an electric utility in one or more of the following areas is also preferred : SCADA, metering, computer systems design, Operations & Maintenance, application development, systems administration, Oracle database administration, and / or network administration. Experience in data science and analyzing data for trends and patterns is a plus. A combination of education and demonstrated related work experience can be substituted for a college degree.
