Position Title: Funded Client Services Associate
Purpose: Maintain accurate documentation of services received by clients with government funding sources (both federal and state) and invoice government funding sources accordingly. Ensure Plan of Care (POC) for clients is up to date. Process client registration and attend to client needs.
FLSA Status: Full-time, 8 hours a day Monday-Friday/Non-Exempt
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided to clients with government funding.
- Invoice government funding sources accurately and timely.
- Ensure authorization for services on clients is up to date.
- Process client registrations, changes, and service terminations.
- Attending to client needs.
- Support the Client Service Manager’s duties, being proficient in the following functions in their absence.
- Process/Administer data entry.
- Complete any other activity required to expedite the meals.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent from a college or technical school and one year or more related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Excellent Attention to Detail and Customer Service Skills
- Microsoft Office experience
- Knowledge of insurance billing a plus
- Able to read and comprehend written and oral instruction.
- Able to communicate clearly, compassionately, and professionally in person and on the telephone.
- Able to effectively interact with people, communicate abstract ideas, and solve problems creatively.
- Possess good reasoning skills, ability to think clearly under pressure.
- Math and data entry skills.
- Able to work independently, collaboratively and with a team.
- Able to complete and organize required paperwork.
- Must have close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, and view a computer terminal.
- Works well under the constraints of time and deadlines.
- Ability to navigate the Internet and database management tools, proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel, and correspond professionally via email.
- Hold a valid Driver’s License free from moving violations.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Light Work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
- Physical activity includes stooping, reaching, grasping, fingering, standing, and walking. May be requested to lift, push, and pull if packing or delivering.
- Must have visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and view computer monitor.
- Able to perceive sounds at normal speaking level.
- Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
- Reliable, consistent punctuality and physical attendance are required.
