Site Coordinator- Red Door Senior Center
Duties:
- Plan and supervise all recreational, educational, and cultural activities of the site
- Provide information, referral, and counseling
- Recruit volunteers to assist with activities
- Prepare monthly calendar and the narrative portion of the newsletter
- Keep the facility clean, neat and organized
- Be innovative in finding new programs, areas of interest and recruiting clients
- Compile records for monthly reports
- Assist in any job deemed necessary for the smooth running of the facility
- Responsible for maintaining department budget
- Provide assistance in the overall operations of Meals on Wheels Wichita County
- Perform clerical, administrative, and data entry duties
- Answer telephone and serve as receptionist
- Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO/Director of Operations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited four-year college or university or have an associate degree with two years experience of have a high school diploma with five years experience working with people in a human service or medically related program
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Must have ability to compile, copy, sort, and file records of activities and transactions of the department
- Strong partnership-building and event planning skills
- Excellent computer skills- proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, community environment
- Ability to look at a situation from several points of view
- Excellent people manager, open to direction and work styles
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check and pre-employment drug screen
- Food Handler’s permit and valid Texas driver's license required
