This is a full-time position in office Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm. The pay rate is $16-$20 an hour depending on experience.

Insurance Specialist Job Duties:
- Verify insurance benefits and communicate information to client families, Department Directors, and Client Relations
- Secure and maintain authorizations to provide services and communicate information to client families and department directors
- Maintain accurate tracking method for authorizations and incoming clients.
- Assist team with submitting appeals for denied services
- Develop/maintain relationships with employees at insurance and utilization management companies
- Participate in scheduled insurance meetings
- Serve as first point of contact for authorization related questions
- Manages all other Insurance Specialist duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Medical knowledge of codes and terminology a plus
- Ability to work independently and prioritize task effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to drive with a valid driver's license and insurance
- MUST maintain confidentiality due to access to HIGHLY sensitive information
- Proficiency in using computer software and data tracking systems, such as, but not limited to, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive and other platforms
