Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) Operator located in Little Rock, AR. The HDD Operator will be responsible for operating directional drilling equipment for the installation of underground utilities. This includes setting up and operating machinery, monitoring drilling operations to ensure quality and efficiency, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety guidelines. Additionally, the HDD Operator will collaborate with team members to complete projects successfully.
Qualifications
- Experience with operating HDD equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of underground utility installation and drilling techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- CDL license and clean driving record preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus
- Commitment to safety and compliance with all regulatory standards
