What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Operative position at Mears?
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician within our North east branch. Your main duties will be to look after the contract and complete general maintenance repairs including painting and decorating, tiling bathrooms, fitting doors and any emergency breakdown repairs where needed.
Role Criteria :
- Strong knowledge and understanding of housing maintenance and repairs
- Experience in painting and decorating
- Willing to travel
- Team player
- Excellent communication
- Full UK driving license
- Basic knowledge of plumbing is a desirable
