- The role involves creating, preparing, planning, communicating, and hosting professional development activities with clients, constituents, and partners. It requires responding to various technical assistance needs, including providing follow-up support for coaching to teachers, administrators and social services personnel. Additionally, the individual will prepare agendas and materials for diverse learning modalities, such as in-person, virtual, and asynchronous professional learning experiences. Staying current with industry trends, research, and best practices in learning and development is essential. The position also entails travel within designated territories and attendance at department and team meetings while managing multiple interrelated projects.
- Strong knowledge and expertise across a broad range of educational/school related topics
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principle
- Self-directed and ability to work/undertake tasks independently and with competence.
- Ability to adjust priorities based on need, demonstrate conceptual thinking, and propose innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems and/or other training applications.
- Travel to schools within NY is required; services are also provided online using web-conferencing technology such as Zoom.
- Ability to quickly get up to speed on new content areas
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and with internal and external teams.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Excellent time management: successful multi-tasker with attention to detail who can set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Expertise in Microsoft and google suite and with virtual learning meeting platforms (Zoom, Google Meets, Teams).
Education & Experience
Preferred experience includes a master’s degree in education, or related field, and minimum of three years of teaching or related experience and related appropriate classroom/school experience.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
