As a Meat wrapper/cleaner you will be responsible for providing high-quality meat products to our customers while ensuring exceptional service and adherence to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Skillfully carve and prepare various types of meats, ensuring precision and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and work areas.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure the highest quality of products.
- Package and label meat products accurately for display or customer orders.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting customers with their selections.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other cutting tools.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in meat cutting or food preparation, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is a plus.
