The Role :

Join our mission to provide nutritious, affordable food for all. Be a part of a team that takes pride in making climate friendly, nutrient-dense alt-proteins from Mycelium- the muscular root structure of mushrooms. You'll lead a team of maintenance techs and perform day to day maintenance, repair, and equipment troubleshooting including the following major tasks and responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair complex interrelated process machinery in a sanitary food manufacturing environment.
• Trains other non-Maintenance technical operators on basic troubleshooting activities.
• Provides preventative maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities with mechanical, pneumatic, steam, and basic electrical skills.
• Responds to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs to maintain production equipment in a full safe working capacity.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Consistently follow food safety and good manufacturing practices.
• Maintains compliance with SQF standards and use of appropriate PPE and meet all EH&S requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

The Work Schedule : Weekend Nights : Friday - Sunday, Every other Thursday. 6 : 00pm- 6 : 30am; other shifts may become available as necessary.

Compensation : The starting wage for this role is $31.50 hourly, with opportunities to increase compensation to up to $41.50 through a level progression program. Additionally, Meati provides a $2.00 weekend might shift differential. In addition to the hourly wage, this position is eligible for a potential quarterly bonus and equity! Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
