We are looking for an experienced SQF/ Food Safety Coordinator to join Meats By Linz at our new location in Hammond, Indiana! The ideal candidate would have experience in the following:
- Ensuring food/product quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Review GMP, Sanitation practices, and Contracts or Initiatives.
- Be a part of the vendor approval process.
- Conduct in-house audits of finished products.
- Have strong attention to detail and be able to provide evidence of record reviews.
- Understands the importance of advocating for Food Safety Culture through involvement and modeling with various teams.

Qualifications
- Must work effectively, respectfully, and collaboratively with all levels of management and Team Members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish
- Proficient in Internet navigation; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- SQF Practitioner (Required)
- Certified in HACCP and competent in implementing and maintaining food quality plans
- Understand Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Quality Code and the requirements to implement and maintain a quality management system as an SQF Practitioner
- Familiar with GMP's in meat industry
- Demonstrae leadership, team management, and training skills in a food manufacturing environment
