Pump Technician – Job Description
Leading independently owned electric motor and pump repair company seeks an Industrial Pump Technician/Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair various types of pumps, including split case, submersible and vertical turbines.

Job Description
· Tear down, repair and re-assemble industrial pumps
· Perform tests on rebuilt pumps
· Miscellaneous mechanical tasks as needed
Qualifications
· 5 years of experience in servicing medium to large industrial pumps
· Experience with major brands such as Flowserve, Flygt, Ingersoll-Rand, KSB, Peerless and Worthington is highly desirable
· Ability to read/interpret pump cut sheets and exploded diagrams while identifying parts for diagnostic work
· Must provide own tools
· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
· Be physically able to safely operate equipment, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and capable of standing/stooping/kneeling for long periods of time.
NOTE: This position requires drug and background screening
