Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, dynamic, and experienced Multi-Unit Corporate Chef to oversee the culinary operations across multiple restaurant locations. This leadership role requires a reliable, detail-oriented, hardworking individual with a strong passion for excellence, team coaching and management, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Corporate Chef will play a key role in ensuring consistent high quality, safety and sanitation standards and procedures, and operational efficiency in all our kitchens.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

  • Oversee kitchen operations in a high-volume operation for multiple locations. This position is based in MA where 85 % of their time in MA locations and 15% of time may be in other state store locations.
  • Quality assurance for all products, from ordering, receiving, preparing it to serving our guests.
  • Support locations with proper ordering and inventory procedures of all ingredients and supplies for the kitchen.
  • Work directly with management on new hire training, cooking standards, recipe adherence, safety and sanitation.
  • Must be able to travel to Seaport, Brookline, and Dedham locations

Oversees the operations of the kitchen and back-of-house, ensuring that food is prepared safely, efficiently, and according to Mecha specifications or request.

  • Ensures BOH adheres to recipes and produces the highest food quality.
  • Supports the overseeing of stocking, ordering, and purchasing of ingredients, ensuring that necessary ingredients are available and as fresh as possible while also minimizing spoilage and waste.
  • Ensures a safe workplace environment stressing proper safety measures while performing tasks
  • Supports management team to manage labor and schedules appropriately to meet the needs of the business and follow the required labor standards of the BOH.
  • Cover any chef or sous position during their Vacation / Sick PTO or any other time of need
  • Keeping schedule open for on call availability to work in any location to cover shifts as needed
  • Teach / train and mentors team members at every position in BOH, recipe adherence, ordering, inventory, waste management, safety and sanitations
  • Ensures kitchen runs in accordance with all applicable health, safety, and hygiene codes and standards. Maintains a DOH score of 95 or better
  • Always Keeping work area neat and clean; cleaning and maintaining equipment used in food preparation
  • Maintains and inspects kitchen equipment and utensils, recommending repairs or replacements as needed
  • Completing food temperature checks before service
  • Partners with all management and team members in FOH and BOH to support a cohesive team focused on creating a great guest experience.
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned – including working the line, doing prep, and executing quality control, and dish.
  • Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Prior experience in related food service positions required
  • 2 years of Head Chef experience required.
  • Certified in Serve Safe or other QFO certificate
  • Must be bilingual (Spanish)
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and inventory management.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financials related to food service operations.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
  • Ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plans and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment
  • Ability to work in a high-stress environment while maintaining a high standard of quality and customer service.
  • Must have reliable transportation to be able to commute to all MA locations as per business needs.

Employees are regularly exposed to kitchen equipment (e.g., oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer, and chef's knives).
