Job Summary
The HVAC Project Sales Executive is responsible for cultivating and managing a large customer base focused on HVAC retrofits, replacements, and upgrading projects. The role combines sales, project management, estimating, and customer relationship skills to drive revenue and successful project completion.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development:
- Meet with customers to establish and maintain relationships.
- Generate sales and prepare estimates for projects
- Develop proposals for equipment, materials, and services.
- Prospect for new sales opportunities.
- Conduct sales acquisition activities in assigned geographic or vertical market territories.
- Team Leadership:
- Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss strategy and selling skills.
- Maintain business portfolio funnel of 3x annual goal
- Proficient with CRM or similar software
- Customer Relations:
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide solutions for performance enhancement and issue resolution.
- Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Read architectural and mechanical drawings.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, codes, and estimating practices.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
- 3 years of in-field sales and estimating experience related to HVAC-related projects.
Physical Requirements
- Extended periods spent at a desk or working on a computer.
- Ability to lift 15 pounds.
- Local travel is necessary; reliable transportation is required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $68,000 - $88,000
- Commission
- Eligible for performance-based incentives and bonuses
