The Outage Services Division is seeking an Entry Level Accounting Specialist to support our growing business by providing helpful support to our Finance and Operations teams.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following :
- Support the month-end close process.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the General Ledger.
- High level analysis of job costs to assist in bidding process.
- Review employee Concur expenses
- Review invoicing and manage milestone billing.
- Job setup and job reconciliation / closing.
- Review customer POs / Contracts for invoicing purposes
- Preparing Account reconciliations.
- Make sure all job costs are being accurately applied to jobs
- Serve as the customer liaison for invoice processing issues
- Assist with revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
- Identify risks and areas of improvement in internal processes and controls.
- Initiate continuous improvement processes related to finance
- Manage FR clothing / SWAG supplied to employees
- Assist VP with travel, Concur, managing schedule, etc.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
