Gas Turbine Technician

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work.

The Gas Turbine Technician installs, inspects, repairs, and builds gas turbines under the direction of the lead technician. They operate the machinery, cranes, forklift, and hand tools in a team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Work independently and with team members to disassemble, inspect, conduct minor repairs, assemble, and modify gas turbines, accessories, and support systems.
• Adhere to work instructions and procedures.
• Review all phases of tasks, as specified by work instructions, to perform self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Inspect, operate, and maintain shop equipment, facilities, and support systems.
• Foster a positive working environment and relationships with colleagues.
• Able to work long hours.
• Able to lift 40lbs.
• Able to maintain certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, etc.).
• Able to use precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, follow set safety and quality processes and procedures, and engage in continuous improvement to the safety and quality culture by escalating concerns and contributing to improvements with ideas / solutions
• All other duties as assigned
