The ideal candidate will be confident, detail-oriented, organized, able to prioritize work responsibilities and have strong professional written and oral communications skills. The person selected will be required to work well with a wide range of individuals and personality types.
Core Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for performing administrative duties for our Mandeville, LA Project Management Team. These assignments will include, but are not limited to:
- Support project managers in the execution of a project once an order is received
- Manage project document tracking, submittal receipt and distribution process
- Report status of project documents
- Serve as point of contact with clients for projects when project managers are unavailable or when requested by a project manager.
- Maintain project records, logs and files
- Prepare and distribute standard weekly/monthly reports
- Provide logistics support for Factory Acceptance Tests
- Provide support as needed to other areas as needed
Requirements:
- AS Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
- A minimum of 3 years administrative experience in a technical environment; or 2 years as an engineering assistant or EIT
- Experience with engineering project management desirable
- Strong computer skills to include: MS Office, MS Project and Adobe Acrobat
- Understand how to use and operate databases.
