What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tube Bending Setup Technician position at Mechanical Industries?
Mechanical Industries is a 60-year-old privately held business specializing in tube and rod bending and fabrication. We exist to create high quality metal parts for the products that power America.
We are looking for someone experienced in setting up and running our tube bending machines to join our team. The primary responsibility will be doing machine set-ups on our 10 different benders.
After a recent change in ownership, the company is on a growth trajectory and our team is working together to make Mechanical Industries the Midwest’s leader in Tube Bending and End forming. - Bending Machine Set-ups
- Precision Quality Checks

- Troubleshoot and fix production floor engineering issues

- Machine Setup Efficiency
- Machine Setup Accuracy
- Rework & defect rate
- Bending Throughput Efficiency
