THE ROLE
In this role, you will develop key corporate messaging for The MLC with external and internal stakeholders.
This role will execute strategies to achieve organizational goals with diverse groups including Members, DSPs, policy makers and a variety of influential partners. You will ensure that all communications are aligned with The MLC's mission, vision and strategic objectives.
As an integral member of the Marketing Team, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of an organization that is changing the game in the music industry. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all channels.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, music industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years related experience.
- Experienced in developing & implementing communications plans that drive business goals.
- Effective with tact & diplomacy and persuasion writing skills.
- Experience turning complex material, including legal and technical content, into clear and engaging written narratives. Ability to align tactical execution with strategic directions.
- Work long hours when necessary to align with changing priorities and / or supporting crisis plans.
- Strong prioritization, project management & organization skills.
- Expertise in AP style rules and guidelines.
