Were looking for a Controls Installation Technician to join our team and help drive the installation and commissioning of automated environmental control systems for commercial and industrial clients. In this essential role, youll work at the forefront of building automation, ensuring projects are installed and executed with precision, quality, and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
What Youll Do: As a Controls Installation Technician, your days will be varied and dynamic, as you take ownership of each stage of the HVAC systems installation process. From collaborating with project managers to ensuring quality control inspections and training team members, your work will directly impact the successful execution of complex installations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Installation Mastery: Install cutting-edge building automation systems, including conduit, wiring, and components, adhering to design specifications and plans.
- Commission New Systems: Be on the front lines, commissioning newly installed building automation systems, ensuring theyre working as designed.
- Client Satisfaction: Communicate effectively with clients throughout the installation process, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Leadership: Mentor and train new team members, sharing your expertise in HVAC controls systems to elevate team performance and technical proficiency.
- Quality Control & Safety: Conduct regular inspections to maintain top-quality standards, while ensuring all installations meet safety protocols and local, state, and federal regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years experience in HVAC controls systems
- Niagara Certification preferred
- High School Diploma, General Education Diploma preferred
- Ability to comprehend and apply verbal and/or written communications, including technical manuals and drawings
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
- Unencumbered US drivers license
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required
