Join our team as an Electrical Estimator, where you'll play a key role in gathering, calculating, and compiling cost data to support all phases of the estimating process under the guidance of the Director of Pre-Construction. With a focus on accuracy, supplier coordination, and total quality, you'll help drive successful project outcomes while gaining valuable industry experience in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
General Requirements:
- Associate degree (or higher) in Engineering discipline (preferred)
- 4 yrs. experience in electrical desired
- Previous estimating experience (any discipline) desired
- Basic understanding of HVAC, Electrical, and fire and security systems
- Ability to clearly communicate in both written and verbal English
- Unencumbered US Drivers License
Key Job Duties:
- Gather and analyze data to generate accurate project estimates, ensuring informed decision-making across multiple projects. Maintain up-to-date records on opportunities, suppliers, and contractors to support effective bidding strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales staff, clients, and key stakeholders to provide timely estimates, build strong relationships, and support business growth. Communicate potential job site hazards to the Safety Director.
- Deliver precise estimates, assist in developing competitive bidding strategies, and integrate safety best practices. Maintain supplier and contractor databases while ensuring compliance with all organizational, local, state, and federal regulations.
