Summary/Objective

The Government Packaging Associate I position is responsible for following the packaging requirements per the work order and direction from the Government Packaging Lead or Government Packaging Associate II.

Essential Functions

• Follow work order instructions to assemble and pack products
• Verify counts
• Repack to meet customer specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

  Physical Demands

  Strength Guideline: The employee must frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds, occasional lift or move up to 50 pounds and rarely lift or move up to 70 pounds.

  Motion Parameters: The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  Vision and Hearing: The employee is required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, at times can be high.
