- Receives, sorts and stores linen according to department standards.
- Counts and delivers daily linen orders throughout the hospital. Assures linen orders are filled accurately and within the time schedule required.
- Collects and transports soiled linen from patient floors throughout the hospital.
- Receives, screens, and routes telephone calls. Receives call-in orders and communicates messages.
- Prepares and submits necessary paperwork in a complete and timely manner.
- Establishes and maintains rapport and cooperative working relationships both internal and external and effectively represents the department.
