Position Summary

Responsible for supervision of and overall performance of environmental service function during assigned shift and/or area. Assures acceptable cleaning standards are carried out to provide a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Minimum Qualifications

Work Experience

Two years of environmental services experience in an institutional cleaning setting (OR) previous supervisory experience required.

Education-
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Oversees and provides direction to staff members related to completion of work, work schedules, and work assignments within established policies and procedures of Med Center Health.
- Provides leadership in problem identification and resolution, and coordinates resolutions in collaboration with department leader.

- Maintains adequate equipment and cleaning supply levels to meet the demands of the department.
- Ensures that proper documentation is current on department records and files.
- Routinely receives and transmit documents and messages via in-house computer system.
- Represents the department by serving on various task forces and committees.
