Med Mart is now accepting applications for anConstruction and electrical Manager at our Cincinnati, OH location. This position will require leadership skills, mechanical skills and customer service.
Candidate's for this position can expect day to day tasks to include managing the team, handling customer issues, managing permits, and field work-including installation, service and repair to Vertical Platform Lifts, Stair Lifts, Home Elevators and other related Mobility Equipment that we provide.
Requirements for this job:
- xperience with small and electric motors is preferred and beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily morning huddles, ensuring clear communication and goal alignment.
- Share essential information with staff to support their job responsibilities.
- Set and track goals and objectives, reviewing progress during daily huddles.
- Oversee scheduling for construction teams and allocate resources efficiently.
- Conduct job site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues as needed.
- Manage repair requests from previous customers, performing repairs directly or coordinating additional resources when required.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Negotiate purchasing agreements with suppliers to optimize costs and identify savings opportunities.
- Travel to customer sites for estimates and project planning.
- Plan, scope, and estimate jobs as part of the bidding process.
- Prepare and submit paperwork and drawings for permit applications, collaborating with municipalities and outside architects when needed.
- Support sales staff in completing estimates when necessary.
- Develop and mentor team members to foster growth and skill development.
- Represent the company at trade shows and networking events.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings when required.
- Assist customers in selecting materials to meet their project needs.
- Conduct performance reviews for staff and team leads.
- Source selection items to balance cost-effectiveness with project requirements.
- Continuously improve processes and systems within operations.
- Plan and implement updates to store displays in coordination with the necessary team members.
- A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must be capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
- Competence in preparing and completing paperwork accurately and on time.
- Ability to train customers, caregivers, and family members on equipment usage and maintenance.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA Privacy Rules and company policies.
