Warehouse Manager Job Description
Location: 2237 S Smithville Rd (to start and end the day)
Status: Regular Full Time - 40 hrs per week
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00pm. Work demands may require alternative and/or additional working hours based upon departmental and organizational needs.
FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Purpose:

- Pull, process, and log incoming and outgoing orders accurately.
- Restock items and file requests when stock is low.
- Check all orders for accuracy and report discrepancies to management.
- Maintain and organize shipping documentation, manifests, and receipts.
- Track and account for all inventory, performing counts and ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure proper transport, packaging, and placement of products.
- Oversee and coordinate warehouse logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Supervise, direct, and motivate warehouse staff to carry out tasks effectively.
- Assist in hiring and training new warehouse and driver employees.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure equipment is serviced and used properly.
- Demonstrate and enforce commitment to all safety standards and regulations.
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.
- Improve warehouse processes through strategic planning to enhance efficiency.
- Act as a backup driver when necessary.

· Coordinate and oversee all warehouse logistics.
· Supervise and direct warehouse staff
· Aware of warehouse safety and make a top priority for all employees.
· Track and account for all incoming and outgoing products.
· Confirm proper and timely delivery of products.
· Perform various inventory counts, order supplies and goods as needed.
· Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed and a clean and tidy workplace is always kept.
· Maintain shipping documentation, manifests and receipts, enter relevant data into reports as needed.
· Assist in the hiring and training process of new warehouse and driver employees.
· Ensure proper transport, packaging and placement of products.
· Motivate and lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasks.
· Abide by and enforce facility rules and state laws and regulations.
· Improve warehouse work process through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient system.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Previous management experience in a warehouse position.
· Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
· Must possess outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
· Physical stamina, ability to work long hours on one’s feet and lift 50 pounds.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent organization and efficient time management skills.
· Must demonstrate effective computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong ability to problem solve.
· Able to successfully complete drug screen and fingerprint background check.
Minimum Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred.
Physical Demands:

There will be continuous walking and sitting, standing, kneeling, crouching and lifting of items 50 pounds.
