Duties And Responsibilities
Plan the Project:
- Create detailed project plans which identify and sequences the activities needed to successfully implement a project.
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to the activities.
- Leads cross functional teams across the organization, effectively communicates with internal team members and customers in a clear and professional manner on the phone, via email, and in person.
- Hosts discovery sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture current state and makes recommendations on future state process improvements
- Work effectively to set goals, identify problems, and make decisions in a rapidly changing environment.
- Manages multiple projects across different departments within the organization assuring that all team members have the required information and resources to complete tasks effectively.
- Proactively communicate and manages expectations of both internal and external stakeholders by facilitating weekly calls, recording detailed meeting minutes, identifies next steps in the process, and diligently follows-up on all open activities until project completion.
- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.
- Manages deliverables according to project timelines. Prepares and presents project status and escalates issues to executive sponsors and stakeholders
- Candidate should be able to connect the dots into other initiatives or to past projects, think strategically, and build and develop co-workers/individuals
- Lead teams in high priority risk situations by coordinating and instilling a sense of urgency where applicable across multiple internal and client cross functional teams.
- Acts as point of escalation for critical implementation-related risks and facilitate their timely resolution.
- Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, and 5 years of Project Management experience
- PMP certification is preferred, but not required
- Experience in Revenue Cycle required
- Proficiency with MS Office
