What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Practice position at Med Ninjas?
Job Summary
This is a PRN role that requires working as needed basis. Shifts are TBD, with options for half days (4 hours or less) and full days (4-8 hours). Weekends may be required.
Job Responsibilities
- Travel to VES leased facility or schedule Veterans within your own practice
- Conduct non-treatment exams and separation health assessments
- Perform interview-based exams with some physical assessment, including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing
Requirements
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 0-3 years of residency
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
- Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio requirements
- Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
- Active and unrestricted full license
- Will need to complete DMA training to become DMA certified
- May require record review and follow up administrative work
