Part-Time Centralized Dispatcher

Med One Group, a leader in the medical equipment finance industry, is seeking a self-motivated Centralized Dispatcher at our distribution warehouse in La Mirada, CA. This is a Part-Time hourly position, Saturday and Sunday 6am-5:30pm. Compensation, depending on experience, $19-$22.50 per hour. This person will ensure the effective functioning of a distribution facility by following procedures and processes established by the Operations Manager. Must provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Essential Functions & Skills
- Strong social skills and ability to work as a team.
- Assist Operations Manager in the day to day operations of distribution site by working in the front office answering phones and assisting customers as needed.
- Create pickup and delivery transaction in MOA with an emphasis on accuracy of information being entered.
- Ability to communicate in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Obtain purchase orders and other necessary information from customers to help in our operations process.
- Assist sales reps with their various needs and requests.
- Have an ability to create relationships with our Customer and Reps.
- Must be able to navigate various computer programs.
Job Requirements
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
- Able to follow oral and written directions.
- Proficient computer skills with emphasis on accuracy
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate various software systems.
