Company Overview:
Med One Group, a leader in the medical equipment rental and leasing industry for over 30 years, is seeking a Rental Equipment Territory Sales Manager residing in the North Carolina/Virginia or nearby area, our local branch is in Raleigh, NC . The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining current accounts, developing sales strategies, and attracting new rental and sales business within the North Carolina/Virginia territory.
Essential Functions:
- Focus on renting medical equipment in acute hospital and post-acute markets, including Infusion Pumps, Ventilators, Monitors, Beds, Mattresses, and other MME Equipment.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager to identify new rental opportunities and close rentals and sales deals to meet or exceed goals.
- Implement a strong sales process to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Manage existing clients and develop new accounts by calling on and visiting healthcare facilities, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and overseeing rental equipment, sales and service offerings.
- Work in a fast-growing medical device rental market with competitive compensation and benefits. Med One offers uncapped commission in addition to base pay. The open territory currently generates revenue from an existing book of business and has strong potential for expansion and growth.
- Engage in a consultative sales approach with customers, working with the Regional Sales Manager to forecast sales, implement strategies, and evaluate effectiveness. Utilize, email, phone and marketing materials and tools to reach existing and new customers.
- Conduct market research to analyze competition and industry trends.
Job Requirements:
- Preferred: Experience in medical device sales or therapeutic support surface sales or equivalent.
- Preferred: Sales experience in healthcare and hospital-based markets.
- Proven ability to build relationships, meet monthly goals, and close sales and rental business.
- Ability to provide sales performance metrics and records of achievement.
- Expertise in the sales process and negotiation strategies, as well as communication skills in face-to-face interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
