We are seeking a disciplined and motivated Medical Equipment Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience in hospital or clinical settings who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with hospitals, LTACs, SNFs, and other medical care facilities within the assigned territory.
You will work closely with Materials Managers, Biomedical Engineers, and other hospital staff to provide equipment rental and sales solutions tailored to their needs. This role requires frequent travel within the territory, proactive lead generation, and a strong commitment to customer service.
This position has a base pay plus commission, commission is 5% of all business billing in the area per month. There is currently a decent book of business that comes with the territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, LTACs, SNFs, and other healthcare facilities by conducting regular in-person visits.
- Educate clients on our medical equipment rental and sales offerings, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Provide pricing information, negotiate contracts, and close deals for medical devices, including ventilators, beds, mattresses, infusion pumps, and monitors.
- Proactively generate new leads and expand business opportunities within the territory.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and revenue targets.
- Utilize HubSpot and internal digital tools to track and report sales activities, ensuring accurate data collection and customer insights.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to coordinate deliveries, resolve customer issues, and support ongoing account management.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred OR 2-5 years of sales experience, ideally in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (HubSpot experience is a plus).
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
