Join this dynamic healthcare team as an Athletic Trainer, where your passion and skills will empower athletes to achieve their peak performance and recover from injuries. In this Direct Hire role, you'll collaborate with high school and college athletes, coaches, and medical professionals to deliver top-notch care. Your contributions will include:
- implementing a sports medicine program, with focus on injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation
- educating athletes and staff on fitness and nutrition
- providing on-field training services during practices and competitions
- coordinating athletes' physicals and medical requirements
- managing a program budget
- documenting for insurance claims
You will be partnered with a small group of high school and college programs. Our Athletic Trainer position uniquely tailors travel requirements to your specific location, ensuring convenience and reducing the need for extensive travel. You'll have the opportunity to work remotely as well as at nearby community sites, allowing for even more flexibility!
Days/Hours: Full time, primarily during Monday thru Friday daytime hours. Some attendance of evening and weekend competitions will be needed.
Salary: $25-31/hr, plus sign on bonus! Comprehensive benefits will include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, PTO, tuition assistance and a pension plan!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training required
- Certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Associate Board of Certification
- NYS Licensed Athletic Trainer
- Familiarity with NJCAA governing rules
- 4 years of experience in Athletic Training preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
