Job Summary
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Belleville area! This is a 13-week travel contract. Nightshift 3x12H (19:00 - 07:30). Start date is 02/24/2025. As a Respiratory Therapist on the team, you will be responsible for evaluating patients undergoing many different procedures and medical situations and making recommendations for an appropriate respiratory treatment plan. You may also provide respiratory care to medically fragile or complex patients, insert or remove endotracheal tubes, and work closely with the patient and their family to ensure they understand what is happening every step of the way. The ideal candidate has a patient, kind attitude with excellent bedside manner, a deep understanding of patient needs, and a strong grasp on respiratory regulations and best practices.

Every other weekend (Sat/Sun)...
Will work every other holiday that falls within the contract...
All RTO and scheduling requests MUST be included with submission, any additional scheduling requests after start can ONLY be accommodated through an equal swap of shifts with another Agency RN; Block/special scheduling cannot be accommodated unless approved at time of booking…...

Responsibilities
- Meet with and evaluate a variety of patients
- Make recommendations on respiratory care based on their specific needs and situations
- Perform basic respiratory care, including inserting and removing tubes, adjusting machines, and more
- Work with both the family and the patient to ensure their needs are being met, and they understand what is happening.
Qualifications
- Active credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state board equivalent required
- State licensure required
- Deep understanding of respiratory care, patient care, and best patient practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary : $2,340
