Position Overview :
Med Supply US is seeking a motivated and experienced Medical Sales and Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role combines sales responsibilities with the critical task of verifying insurance coverage and ensuring that patients have the necessary approvals to receive their CGM devices. You will work closely with the CEO and other team members to streamline the process of qualifying patients and facilitate the necessary insurance verifications for successful sales.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead Qualification & Patient Outreach : Contact leads and patients to determine eligibility for CGM devices based on insurance and Medicare guidelines.
- Insurance Verification : Verify patient insurance eligibility, including checking copayments, deductibles, and prior authorization requirements.
- Document Review & Billing : Review and organize necessary medical documents, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complies with insurance and regulatory standards.
- Prior Authorization Management : Assist patients in navigating the prior authorization process to ensure timely approval for CGM devices.
- Sales Outreach & Relationship Building : Build relationships with patients, explaining the benefits of CGMs and assisting them in understanding their insurance coverage.
- Work with Healthcare Providers : Coordinate with clinics and doctor’s offices to ensure required documentation and insurance details are provided for the patient.
- Internal Collaboration : Work with internal teams, including sales, customer support, and administrative staff, to ensure smooth processing of patient information.
- Reporting & Documentation : Maintain accurate records of all interactions with patients, insurance verifications, and approval statuses.
